- 497kg forward/reverse plate (65kN): for tough soils, asphalt, sand and stone over large surfaces, and backfilling against walls
- 813kg extra large forward/reverse plate (110kN): for building backfill and sub-bases for roads, paths and car parks, including semi-cohesive soils

Delivery & support for compactors across WA
Our smaller plates and rammer can travel in a ute, van or trailer, while the heavier forward/reverse plates are best delivered to site by tilt tray across the Perth–Mandurah corridor, from Yanchep to Bunbury. With nine branches and Hire Anywhere, Return Anywhere, you can return it to whichever branch suits you.

For paving, bricks and bedding sand, our 60kg or 79kg plate compactors are the right size. They are light, manoeuvrable and leave a smooth compacted surface.
Plate compactors cover wider surface areas and work best on sand, soil and gravel. A vertical rammer delivers concentrated impact for clay, backfill in trenches, footings and excavations.
For larger areas and heavier work such as backfill, road sub-bases, house pads and car parks. Forward and reverse travel also makes it easier to work in confined spaces and against walls.
Our 60kg and 79kg plates and the 68kg rammer can be loaded into a ute, van or trailer, ideally by two people. The forward/reverse plates from 356kg to 813kg are best delivered to site.
Yes. Our 497kg forward/reverse plate is suited to asphalt surfaces as well as tough soils, sand and stone. For larger asphalt areas, a twin drum roller gives a smoother finish.
No high risk work licence is needed for our compactors, but you need to be able to use them safely. Our team will take you through the controls when you collect, and each product page lists the PPE you’ll need.
