Flatbed truck & trailer delivery for access equipment across Perth
Perth’s access equipment yard
The Kewdale access yard holds Classic Hire’s elevated work platform fleet — electric and diesel scissor lifts, knuckle and straight boom lifts, mast lifts and material hoists — covering working heights from indoor maintenance through to serious external access. It is the specialist yard for access equipment, and the fleet is inspected and maintained here rather than spread across the network.
Access equipment is delivered by flatbed truck & trailer across Perth, with regional delivery by arrangement. Tell the team the working height, the ground conditions and whether the work is indoors or out, and they will match the machine to the job — the wrong platform on the wrong surface is the most common reason an access hire stalls on site.
Serving commercial builders, industrial maintenance contractors, and steel fixers across Welshpool, Cannington, Belmont, and Redcliffe, Kewdale Access maintains Western Australia’s most compliant EWP fleet. Matching the exact platform to your working height, slab capacity, and outdoor terrain prevents costly site downtime.

Kewdale Access — frequently asked questions
Our Kewdale Access fleet covers working heights ranging from compact 6-metre indoor slab scissor lifts up to high-reach 25-metre articulated and telescopic boom lifts. Tell our team your required working height, horizontal reach, and basket capacity, and we will match the ideal EWP to your job.
Under WA WorkSafe guidelines, operating boom lifts with a platform height of 11 metres or greater legally requires a valid High Risk Work Licence (WP class). For boom lifts under 11m and scissor lifts, an EWPA Yellow Card or proof of operator training is recommended.
Access equipment is transported directly to your job site using specialised tilt-tray vehicles and flatbed trucks & trailers operated by trained transport personnel. Delivery scheduling is coordinated during your quote enquiry to align with your site access hours and mobilisation schedule.
Yes, but you must choose the correct machine type. For indoor warehouse or slab work, we supply electric scissor lifts featuring non-marking rubber tyres. For soft, uneven outdoor terrain, we supply rough terrain 4×4 diesel scissor lifts equipped with foam-filled lug tyres and hydraulic levelling outriggers.
