Inertia Reel Horizontal & Vertical 20MTR

Miller Falcon Self-Retracting LifelineA “Falcon inertia reel” is designed to be used horizontally, meaning it can be used for fall protection in situations where the worker is moving across a horizontal surface, like a walkway or platform, as it is a self-retracting lifeline capable of functioning in both vertical and horizontal applications, particularly when referring to the Miller Falcon series of inertia reels; this versatility is a key feature of the product. Key points about using a Falcon inertia reel horizontally: Versatility:Most Falcon inertia reels are designed to be used in both vertical and horizontal applications, making them suitable for a wide range of work environments. Edge-tested:Some models, like the “Falcon Edge,” are specifically tested for use near edges, allowing for safe horizontal movement on platforms with limited edge protection. Proper anchorage:When using horizontally, ensure the anchorage point is securely fixed directly above the worker’s intended path to minimize fall distance. Fall indicator:Always check the fall indicator on the reel after use to ensure it is functioning properly and hasn’t been activated.
